About my work
Peruvian born Luis moved to California at the age of 14. Luis’ work is the documentation of the personal yet relatable and universal feeling of being a minority, an outsider. Having lived as an undocumented immigrant for 13 years, and having come out late in his 20s, his work investigates and analyzes questions that are hard answer. He navigates through his surroundings photographing a personal and communal experience of living in this world.
